Hilary Duff Rocks ‘The Tonight Show’ with an Epic Performance and Nostalgic Vibes!

Hey, music fans! Hilary Duff just made a splash on 'The Tonight Show' with Jimmy Fallon, and it was everything we wanted! She performed her latest single, Roommates, in an uber-cool bedroom-themed set, and it was no ordinary night – this was her song’s cinematic TV debut!

Roommates is from Hilary's new album, Luck …or Something, which is her first since 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out.. The track serves some real talk about losing the spark in relationships and was co-written with her husband Matthew Koma and Brian Phillips. Luck …or Something has already kicked off a rockin' tour called Small Rooms, Big Nerves.

While on the show, Hilary sat down with Fallon to share stories about the album, her tour, and even her iconic Lizzie McGuire days. When Fallon asked about her kids' opinions on her music, she couldn’t help but gush, “They love my music. It’s very sweet.”

Fallon, a self-proclaimed Lizzie McGuire superfan, asked Hilary, “Who was your Lizzie McGuire growing up?” Her answer? “The Olsen twins!” She reminisced about being starstruck by them at Aaron Carter’s birthday party way back when. Talk about a nostalgia overload – she had it all on VHS, and it was love at first watch!

Hilary didn’t shy away from fan questions either, including her fave onscreen romance and her iconic 2000s commercials. Then it was time for some late-night fun! Duff and Fallon took on the hilarious “Sip and Sing” challenge, splashing some laughs while trying to sing hits like Harry Styles’ “Watermelon Sugar” and Alanis Morissette’s “Ironic” with a mouthful of water.

In a recent chat with Rolling Stone, Hilary shared how she’s balancing music and motherhood. “I didn’t want to make a record like, ‘I’m a mom and it’s so hard,’” she explained. Instead, she dug deep into what being a mom means to her as an artist, crafting something genuine that her longtime fans will get.

So, if you’re craving some throwback feels and new Hilary Duff beats, catch up with her latest work. It’s fresh, it's relatable, and above all, it's totally Hilary!
