Mumford & Sons Bring the House Down on SNL with New Hits!

Mumford & Sons turned up the heat on Saturday Night Live this weekend, marking their epic fourth appearance on the legendary stage! They dazzled fans with two incredible performances featuring songs from their brand-new album, Prizefighter.

The legendary English folk rockers kicked things off with their sensational new track, "Rubber Band Man," amplified by the soulful voice of Irish sensation Hozier and co-written by the genius Brandi Carlile. To make things even more epic, Aaron Dessner from The National joined them on stage, adding his magic touch to the performance.

Talking about Prizefighter, Marcus Mumford couldn't contain his excitement, calling it his all-time favorite album by the group. He shared, "It’s like we got to this stage in our careers where we’re comfortable in our skin. It’s just us and our mates, and that’s what our band is." Sounds like the perfect mix of heart and talent!

Ted Dwane also gave a heartfelt shoutout to Dessner, saying, "He feels like a real ally," highlighting their long-standing admiration for The National and how Dessner played a crucial role in their previous album.

The night continued to amaze as they rolled into "Here," the opening banger from Prizefighter, featuring the incredible voice of Chris Stapleton. To top it all off, singer-songwriter Sierra Ferrell and Dessner joined the stage, ensuring a performance to remember!

Prizefighter is hot off the press as the band’s second album within a year, following Rushmere, which marked a new chapter for the trio after the departure of guitarist and banjoist Winston Marshall.

Mark your calendars, because Mumford & Sons is gearing up for a massive tour! They're taking over Australia and New Zealand in April before hitting North America in June and then heading to Europe. And if you’re stateside, don’t miss them at the Bourbon & Beyond Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, this October!
