Pulp Drops Epic New Track 'Begging for Change' with Star-Studded Backup and Purpose!

Hey music lovers, get ready to hit repeat because Pulp just dropped a mind-blowing new song, “Begging for Change”! The track is a wild ride right out of Abbey Road Studios and features production magic from James Ford and Animesh Raval.

This isn't just any song—frontman Jarvis Cocker is back with backup from an all-star choir including the likes of Damon Albarn, Grian Chatten, Kae Tempest, and Carl Barat. Talk about a dream team, right?

The track is part of a super cool project called HELP(2), hitting your playlists on March 6. It’s more than just an album—it’s a movement. Created by War Child Records, HELP(2) is here to unite the world of music to make a real difference for children affected by conflict globally.

And the lineup? It’s legendary: Arctic Monkeys, Olivia Rodrigo, Depeche Mode, Bat for Lashes, Beck, Wet Leg, The Last Dinner Party, and Fontaines DC are all featured!

Thirty years ago, Pulp donated their Mercury Prize winnings to War Child. Now, they're giving even more. As Jarvis Cocker hinted, "How much more? You’ll have to wait and see."

HELP(2) is more than an album—it’s a powerful example of what happens when the music industry unites for a purpose,” said Rich Clarke, Head of Music at War Child UK.

Last year was a big year for Pulp fans as the band reunited and released More, their first album since 2001. Inspired by the passing of his mom and bassist Steve Mackey, Cocker was driven to create while they can. "If you’re still around, you’ve got the opportunity to make things," he shared with Rolling Stone.

So turn up the volume and get ready to rock on a mission with Pulp and friends. Not only will HELP(2) be filling our ears with killer tracks, but it’ll be driving change for kids who need it most. Stay tuned!
