Britney Spears Sells Her Music Catalog – What's Next for the Pop Queen?

Buckle up, music fans! Britney Spears, the pop icon who gave us timeless bangers that turned our living rooms into dance floors, has just sold the rights to her legendary music catalog!

That's right! Hits like "…Baby One More Time," "Oops!... I Did It Again," and "I'm a Slave 4 U," are now in the hands of Primary Wave, a company known for dealing with music big wigs. They've previously snagged rights from legends like Whitney Houston and Bob Marley – so you know they mean business!

Rumor has it that Britney's cashing in similarly to Justin Bieber, who bagged a cool $200 million for his catalog. Cha-ching! While the exact numbers are still under wraps, this is definitely a mega move for Britney, who’s been making waves ever since she broke free from a 13-year conservatorship in 2021.

Even though she's sold the classics, don’t think for a second that Britney is done with music. Our favorite pop star dropped a new single with Elton John, "Hold Me Closer," in 2022, and was back at it with "Mind Your Business" alongside Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am in 2023.

Spears’ next step doesn’t involve hitting the stages in the U.S. anytime soon, but who knows what musical surprises she has up her sleeve! For now, we’re just excited to see her sitting pretty with a fat payday and perhaps more epic tunes on the horizon.

Stay tuned, because you know with Britney, there's always something exciting around the corner!
