Dancing with the Stars Celebrates 20th Birthday with a Party to Remember!

Dancing with the Stars just threw a party for the ages, celebrating two decades of dazzling dance-offs and epic entertainment on Tuesday night (Oct. 11)! And guess who stole the show? None other than Robert Irwin with his jaw-dropping moves and a heartfelt tribute to his legendary dad, Steve Irwin.

The night kicked off with a bang as couples took the floor dancing to iconic freestyle hits from previous DWTS seasons. Then, things got even hotter with the relay dance round, featuring celebrities teaming up with past Mirrorball champs for a dance duel, battling it out toe-to-toe!

Robert Irwin and his partner Witney Carson absolutely smashed it with the first perfect individual score of the season, going 40 for 40 while dancing to a song that holds a special place in his heart. It was the very track his sister, Bindi Irwin, grooved to when she won in season 20, paying a touching homage to their dad, the unstoppable “Crocodile Hunter.”

But wait, there’s more! Perfect scores were flying everywhere! Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach, Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas all nailed perfect rounds!

The excitement didn’t stop there. For the electrifying relay jive, Irwin joined forces with Xochitl Gomez (season 33 champ!) and took on Alix Earle and Joey Graziadei. To the beats of Olly Murs’ “Dance with Me Tonight,” Irwin, rocking baby blue, looked like he was born for the floor as he smashed through slides and leaps with his killer footwork. Irwin and Gomez claimed victory, snatching up those golden bonus points!

Sadly, the celebration ended on a downbeat for Andy Richter and Emma Slater, who were eliminated from the competition after scoring the lowest points. But don’t fret, party people!

Get hyped for next week's Prince Night, which promises to be a purple-tastic semi-final showdown. Plus, the ultimate winner will be crowned on November 25 in ABC’s thrilling three-hour dance finale! Can’t wait? Neither can we! Check out Irwin's dance magic below and get ready to groove!
