Metallica Rocks Down Under with Epic Throwback Tour

Metallica Takes Over Australia and New Zealand!

Hey rock fans, brace yourselves! Metallica is blasting their way through the coast-to-coast M72 World Tour, and they’ve touched down in Australia and New Zealand for the first time in a decade. It’s time to turn the volume up!

On Nov. 5, at Adelaide Oval, these metal legends threw down a setlist packed with their biggest hits and paid homage to some incredible local music. Imagine headbanging to Metallica’s cover of INXS’s epic “Need You Tonight”, followed by Robert Trujillo rocking the mic with The Angels’ classic, “Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again”. Fans didn’t miss the chance to echo the legendary Aussie chant of “no way, get f—ed, f— off.” It’s a tradition that never gets old!

Tribute to Aussie Legends

Aussie band The Angels, known for their wild pub-rock vibes, left a mark on music with their captivating tunes. Although frontman Bernard “Doc” Neeson and bass player Chris Bailey have passed on, their music lives eternally in every Aussie heart.

Meanwhile, INXS, the sensational new wave hitmakers, rode the charts with a slew of UK and US top hits. Already ARIA Hall of Famers, could the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame be next for these icons?

Metallica didn’t just stop there! In Perth, they surprised fans with John Butler’s “Zebra”, and Butler returned the love by covering Metallica’s “Enter Sandman”. Talk about a rock ‘n’ roll exchange!

Catch the Legendary Tour

The M72 tour isn’t over yet! Catch Metallica live with support from Evanescence and Suicidal Tendencies. Upcoming shows are set to rock Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Nov. 8, Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on Nov. 12, Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Nov. 15, and finally, Auckland’s Eden Park on Nov. 19.

Don’t miss your chance to witness history with Metallica’s electrifying return down under. Get ready for the ride of your life!
